Discover the Foret de la Coubre
More than 10,000 hectares of forest mainly comprising of maritime pines which were planted in the 17th century to stabilise the dunes from the sand carried by the wind. The forest shelters numerous animals (red squirrels, goats, deer, boar, foxes) and provides vegetation of great richness. There are several means of exploring the forest either by well marked pedestrian paths, long distance footpaths, cycle tracks and circuits.
